Rep. Lindsay Gilchrist has over a decade of experience in government and non-profit work in national and global public policy. In 2005, she traveled to then-Swaziland, Africa to volunteer with an organization working to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Rep. Gilchrist went on to serve as a Special Assistant to Senator Edward M. Born and raised in Denver, Rep-Elect Gilchrist has deep roots in House District 8, which encompasses central and northeast Denver, including the Park Hill and City Park neighborhoods.
