Jeanne Labuda is midway through her fourth and final term representing House District 1 in southwest Denver. She is vice chairwoman of the Finance Committee and also sits on the Appropriations and State, Veterans & Military Affairs committees.
During the 2014 session Rep. Labuda sponsored legislation requiring community association managers to fully disclose all service fees and charges that a Homeowners Association will be billed. Rep. Labuda has been president and secretary of the American Association of University Women, president and board member of the Harvey Park Improvement Association, and member of the Father Ed Judy House Community Advisory Board. She was the mayor’s neighborhood liaison to southwest Denver and was appointed by two Denver mayors to the city’s Planning Board.

She has been a high school teacher, Girl Scout leader, assistant attorney general, claims representative for the Social Security Administration and Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia.
